Egg Freezing

Recent technological advancements and the cautioned approval of egg-freezing technology in 2012 by two of the world’s leading international reproductive medicine organisations has opened up a new world of hope and opportunity for women wishing to maintain their fertility into their late 30’s and 40’s.

Unfortunately though the internet can be a risky place to get medical information, and on top of that there just isn’t much information out there on egg freezing yet. This section seeks to solve this by providing you with easy-to-read information on questions you may have concerning egg freezing, coupled with the promise that only “good quality” data will be making it through my BS filter.

I have a sincere compassion for all women grappling with age-related fertility decline in this modern era where we must seek a balance between our personal ambitions and the desire to have a family as we trend towards waiting to have families at later stages in our life than our predecessors.

Although there has been much speculation concerning the efficacy, and ethics of how egg freezing is to be used, I am of the opinion that women can make up their own minds on this topic. With this right to decide what is best for ourselves however comes the responsibility to be as informed on the topic as we can be, and that is what I want to help you with.

So keep an eye on this page as you will find a constantly growing and updated body of knowledge on the important topic of egg freezing!
